Peter is a certified organic-growing cartographer who peddles and juggles maps, arugula, mesclun mixes, echinacea, garlic, lavender, poetry and peaceability, along with his wifes glass art. He is lucky enough to have become grounded in a rewarding, relaxing and ultimately fulfilling lifestyle hunkered down in the hills between Roseneath and Warkworth, near the hamlet of Dartford, southern Ontario, Canada.
With his wife and partner Gundi, Peter loves their open, bright home and the idyllic 55-acre land they lovingly steward, forever feeling blessed as they take strolls or snowshoe up the hill through the alfalfa fields and re-forested 5 acres, or down by the market gardens and wildflower fields, through cedar groves, past the magnificent magical Queen of Cedars to the creek, wetlands, and regal white pine stand beyond. This is pure land that has never been tainted by chemical additives; it grows native vegetation and yields wholly organic herb and vegetable crops full of goodness, sustained by mineral-rich sandy loam glacial till.
Peter is putting some maps behind him, following the pull of the land and the pen, and planning on growing and growing, continuing to explore and discover the exotic in locales, peoples and cultures.
