About our farm

Early Spring in the garden

We're a 55-acre certified organic farm growing specialty salad greens and herbs tucked away in the friendly folds of the Northumberland Hills - east of Toronto, west of Kingston, in southern Ontario, Canada. Nature bestows us (by and large) with the ideal cold winters and hot summers - combined with glacial till sandy loam soil - for growing salad greens and a number of culinary and medicinal herbs, including garlic, lavender, echinacea. Our two hoophouses enable us to extend our growing season into March, April, November and December.

Look for our premium pre-washed salad greens including our signature arugula, baby lettuce mix, and spicy mesclun; baby beets & carrots, garlic, lavender, fresh herbs, herbal teas, pestos, oils & vinegars, sunflowers at the Riverdale Farmers Market in Toronto (Tuesdays, 3 - 7pm, May 18 to October 26- 1pm, May ) and Don Valley Brickworks Farmers Market (Saturdays, 8am opening May 29 to October 30).

You will also find our produce at a few select restaurants in Northumberland County.
