ORGANIC CERTIFICATION * WHY GROW ORGANICALLY? * AT MARKETS

SALAD GREENS * FRESH & DRIED HERBS * IT IS SAID ... * ORGANIC LINKS

We're a 55-acre certified organic specialty vegetable and herb farm tucked away in the friendly folds of the Northumberland Hills - east of Toronto, west of Kingston, in southern Ontario, Canada. All our 25 acres of fields, most of which are in alfalfa and pasture, are certified organic as are all our crops and herbal products.

Nature bestows us (by and large) with the ideal cold winters and hot summers - combined with glacial till sandy loam soil - for growing salad greens, specialty beets & carrots and a number of culinary and medicinal herbs, especially our favourite lavender. Our new hoophouse enables us to extend our growing season into March, April, November and December.

In 2008, look for our herbs, salad greens and other market produce through the Quinte Organic Farmers' Co-operative at the Riverdale Organic Market in Toronto (Tuesdays, 3 - 7pm, May 3 to October), Don Valley Brickworks Farmers Market (Saturdays, 8am - 1pm, May 24 to November), Toronto Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market (Tuesdays 3 - 7pm, May 10 to October), Toronto Withrow Park Farmers Market (Saturdays, 9am - 1pm, May 24 to October). You will also find our produce at a few select restaurants and organic food shops in Toronto and Northumberland County.
